You may have a unique opportunity for a good-paying career in the highway construction industry. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) provide job training opportunities for women and Black, Indigenous and People of Color community members who are underrepresented in the highway construction industry.
5-week training in New Brighton
TRAINING:
- Highway Heavy Construction trainings at no cost
- Construction tools/boots
- Provide job search assistance
- Job placement opportunities
ELIGIBILITY:
- Identify as a member of an ethnic minority group and/or woman
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Have a valid MN driver’s license
- Possess a car and insurance
- Complete a training aptitude assessment
